99.999% cloud!

August 26, 2013

five ninesIt’s Monday morning, and I have to come up with something for a blog post. I live in a world of “what have you done for me lately,” so I always inventory recent posts to make sure I’m meeting the needs of my (internal) customers. A quick look at posts from last week shows two Kronos cloud posts, one on customer training, and one to shill for our Attestation Tool Kit:

So while I could write about training, our customer portal or even the Affordable Care Act, those will have to wait, because… well, the cloud. Cloud is the fastest growing area in Kronos, and yet not all of our customers know about it. That’s unacceptable, and I won’t stop until 99.999% of our customers know about it. And when I write “it,” I mean:

Workforce Central in the Cloud – My muse. We run your Workforce Central suite of applications in our private cloud. All you have to do is use them.

Workforce Ready – gives small to midsize businesses (SMB) a competitive advantage with consistent, real-time employee data across time and attendance, HR, payroll, and more.

Workforce Talent Acquisition – allows you to source, screen, and select all of your best-fit candidates with speed and efficiency. Put more simply: hiring.

So when will I get to that magic “five nines?” Well, I’m sure there’s an algorithm to give me a date. Currently we have about a customer a day going live in the Kronos Private Cloud, and many more smaller customers opting for Workforce Ready.

Hmmm… A date when every Kronos customer will know about the cloud… I’m going to come up with one and make it a goal. It will give me another reason to write about the cloud.
