Substitute Teacher

December 21, 2012

cloud-film-strip“Yes!” I’m fairly certain an exaggerated and distorted happy moon face accompanied the exhortation, but I don’t recall a fist-pump being involved. In the wild grammar school 60’s, it hadn’t been invented yet. A “Sub” meant little work and lots of mischief. One time, a few of us spent an entire class period in the dark passage/closet between classrooms. Yeah, good times. In other not-news, I’m a little disappointed we didn’t get that “Mayan” weather today that had been predicted by some. For one, I love a good fire and brimstone show, but more immediate, I didn’t bother to write a blog post. I mean, what was the point?

So anyway…You’re getting a filmstrip, but it’s new. Most of you haven’t seen it. It’s on the Mayan pyramids. They built them for a reason, you know. To get to the cloud. Now behave.
