Beyond Amazing

November 10, 2011

From my perspective, KronosWorks 2011 was a huge success. The moving and inspirational keynote by blind adventurer, Erik Weihenmayer really set an appreciation of life tone for all of us that carried through the conference. Erik’s story is beyond amazing. The Rosen Shingle Creek venue was great, too. The resort is very nice, the food above average for a conference like this, and the fact that it doesn’t have casinos meant that our customers (and our employees…) were nearly all in sessions, education workshops or the Expo. Speaking of the Expo, it was always brimming with customers, and the Services professionals at our 5 booths enjoyed a steady stream of excellent customer conversations.

We promoted our Services booths with a networking theme, asking our customers to meet someone at all five and let us know how that person could help them. Here are a few of the best:

Upgrade Central

Cloud Services

Workforce Optimization & Business Assessments

KnowledgePass

Kronos Solution Services

From all the entries, we randomly picked one $1,000 winner. We also asked how they’d create the experience they expect with their winnings. Along with many shopping sprees, Apple products, vacations and spa days, here are some of the best:

“A grand learning experience – in the Bahamas!”
“Hamburgers every day for a year!”
“My wife already spent it!”
“Celebrate 35th wedding anniversary (with my wife, of course)!”
“See my son who I haven’t seen since he returned from Afghanistan.”

Thank you to all our customers who attended.  We’ll try to have burgers next year!
