Kronos rankings on Glassdoor as of today, February 4, 2016

I’ve declared my love for the work Louis Columbus does on Forbes, but again this year I’m disappointed to not see Kronos on his The Best Cloud Computing Companies and CEOs To Work For In 2016. I guess my beef isn’t with Mr. Columbus, but the folks over at Computer Reseller News. Mr. Columbus uses their list of 100 Coolest Cloud Computing Vendors Of 2016 to form the basis of his rankings. So, I guess we have to get cooler. Here’s their definition of “cool” for cloud software providers:

Some are cool because of their leading-edge technology while others achieve “coolness” through their success in bringing cloud software to a wide audience of users.

OK, “leading-edge technology” is subjective, which is fine, but “success in bringing cloud software to a wide audience of users” is not. Over 16,000 small to mid-sized and larger organizations run in the Kronos Cloud globally, representing the majority of our customer base…

Anyway, if we were just a little cooler in the estimation of CRN, here’s how the top of the Mr. Columbus list would look:

Best Cloud Companies

Hey, I’m a little biased, but we’re cool and definitely a great place to work, so check us out!

    Leo,

I am incredibly honored that you mentioned me in one of your blog posts. I am a big fan of this blog and I read nearly every post. You’re a great writer and capture just how cool Kronos is.

The bottom line is Kronos is in a class by itself. I attended Kornosworks last year and I am sorry you did not make the trip. I was looking forward to meeting you there. I had a chance to meet with your execs and I walked away very impressed with how your CEO creates such a great culture of encouragement and innovation. Charlie DeWitt is a force of nature and I’ve rarely if ever met an exec so passionate about their work.

And I have a post planned on the top ten lessons learned from Kronos. I’m coordinating with your AR team on that.

Stay in touch Leo and who knows? Maybe we will meet at this years’ Kronosworks. Until then, keep up the great blog!

    Best regards,

    Louis
