Mr. Working Smarter Café is on vacation (again!). Here’s a guest blog by Valerie Welland, a Customer Experience Manager here at Kronos.
This summer Kronos was host to over 50 interns. My team was lucky enough to work with, Lauren Mason. Lauren helped our team by managing the overall relationship survey process. She would make outbound calls to the customers to try and improve their experience, or find the most appropriate person in Kronos to assist. She also gave us a hand by performing data analysis from the survey results so we can take a strategic approach in the overall improvement of Kronos’ product and processes.
Sadly for us, Lauren will be heading back to school in a few weeks and her internship has come to an end. She mentioned to me that she has learned a great deal this summer, and is impressed with how customer focused Kronos is. She really enjoyed the work she did, and would love to come back one day (on a more permanent basis) It felt great to know that she did enjoy her summer and she is taking with her some new found skills and a true sense of what customer experience is.
I also learned a great deal from Lauren. From her ideas and thoughts about the customer experience and how to improve, I saw a fresh perspective. I saw a woman who in just 10 weeks here, made a difference in so many customers’ ‘day-to-day’ by helping them. This has renewed my feelings about Kronos and how proud I am to work here and be part of this team.
I wanted to use my guest blog post to thank her for all she did for Kronos this summer, but also thank her for teaching me a few things too. Thank you Lauren, and enjoy your senior year!
