46 Years ago today, her testing landed it

July 20, 2015

Margaret HamiltonMargaret Hamilton (no, not this one) wrote the software that helped the Apollo 11 spacecraft prioritize (I think writing code to help a computer prioritize in 1969 is pretty amazing) the ships processes so it could safely land on the moon 46 years ago today. In this Time article, some of the credit for her success was that that “she tested everything so rigorously.” Better to get it right during testing than to have an “oops” with live astronauts trying to park in a boulder strewn lot.

Software testing is critical to any successful deployment of it, so we help customers do testing right. We’re also looking for great software engineers. Hey, it’s not rocket science, but you can help customers have a great experience as you propel them safely to the cloud
