Still Fighting for Independence

July 3, 2015

congratsteamIt’s 4th of July weekend in the US, and while not specifically honoring our soldiers as we do on Veteran’s Day, Independence Day celebrates our declaration of independence as a nation, and the sacrifices made by so many men and women in uniform help us maintain that independence, often at a terrible personal cost.

The No Barriers Warriors program “helps disabled members of all military branches to tackle personal challenges by providing them with camaraderie and support systems they can depend on.” In some cases the program helps vets regain and maintain independence in their lives. As a Kronos employee, I’m proud we’re sponsoring a Kronos Climb of No Barriers Warriors in August 2015, funding a climbing experience for ten veterans in the Shawangunk and Catskill mountains in New York State.

If you’d like to help veterans in the program establish their own independence, it’s easy to do.

Happy Independence Day.
