In my other, mostly dormant blog I wrote about weddings and funerals, and how depending on where you are in the circle of life, the frequency of attending these beginnings or endings can come in waves. Lately I’ve been attending more of the final chapters, but hey, it’s now wedding season, a time of hope and optimism for many. I have a wedding coming up in June, I think. Weddings can be great fun, but the planning of weddings can be draining and frustrating. So, as a public service to you kids planning your big day, here are 10 TOTALLY PLAYED OUT WEDDING SONGS THAT WILL STILL PACK THE DANCE FLOOR AT YOUR RECEPTION.

You’re welcome. Oh, and #1? That’s right. It’s the people from the village belting out their “’70s gay disco anthem that has become one of the most popular heterosexual wedding songs of all time.” Like the Houston Press article says, “Even the most conservative old white guy will be out there making the letters with his body like his life depended on it.”

So, you may be wondering… What will you find at the Y.M.C.A.? Well, at many Y.M.C.A.’s across the US, you’ll find Kronos. That’s right. Kronos. And the first YMCA in the U.S. founded in 1851? They have Kronos. In the cloud.

It’s Friday. Get dancing.
