Protect yourself and others from the flu at work

January 2, 2015

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/dfc/15707898/files/2015/01/img_0818.gifSadly, it’s not a happy new year for many as the flu has reached epidemic levels according to the U.S. Center of Disease Control (CDC). This morning I read the sad story of Shannon Zwanziger, a healthy and active 17 year old who got the flu. Shannon died a week later.

For some reason, I got a flu shot this year for the first time in my memory. I rarely get sick, but it’s even more rare that any of us are getting any younger. Precautions are our best defense against flu germs, and taking them to help protect your workforce is an imperative. Check out my post on keeping your timekeeper clocks clean, and download our Resource Guide to Flu Issues for more tips on keeping your workforce healthy during this tough flu season.

Happy (and healthy) new year.
