Kronos Op-Tim-ization

December 3, 2014

It’s been awhile since I really riffed on the Kronos cloud, and I’m not going to today, except to say that recent IDG Enterprise research I found (thanks to Louis Columbus over at Forbes) forecasts cloud spending will be up 42% in 2015, just behind security technologies at 46%, and ahead of business analytics (we do that, too) at 38%. More interesting to me is that driving additional value from existing IT investments and business processes are 2 of the top 3 business priorities for 2015. Oh, and cutting costs rounded out the top trifecta (we do that, too).
IT-Driving-more-valueManhardt on OptimizationSo… The value thing again. In a time-travel trick, I bring us back to Monday, November 10th at 3:15 p.m. or Wednesday, November 12th at 9:45 a.m., depending on which time-travel taxi you chose. Optimization Practice Manager, Tim Manhardt presented Seven MORE Options to Drive an Optimized Kronos Solution. From a total audience of 151, 65 attendees completed surveys, and every one of them felt the presentation would help them in their work! Here are some of their verbatim comments:

  • Useful queries on finding issues!!!
  • This was the best session that I attended. The speaker was very organized and knowledgeable. Fabulous. I would like to hear more!!!
  • I really enjoyed this session, wealth of information I can start using right away.
  • Tim was awesome. We were tired. (Must have been the Wednesday session…)
  • This will help me to optimize the processes.
  • OUTSTANDING!!! Best session, content and presenter without a doubt. Wish I could bring him back to our office to help optimize our system. Thank you Timothy for the excellent information.

The good news is that you can have Tim, or someone like Tim, work with your organization to identify ways you can increase the value from your Kronos system.

Hey, IDG Enterprise research says it’s a top priority, so you’d better get on it!
