Don’t Make Me Think: Staging the User Experience (UX)

dontmakemethinkI have an off-site meeting at (Work)Joyce’s house today with her whole team, so today’s post is a quickie. Well, for me. Not you if you want to learn about building the user experience into your, uh, let’s just use software… It’s just running around my head a bit.

While surfing, I found this cool slideshare presentation by Jon Innes, Product Design Management Consultant at UX Innovation LLC. It’s 45 slides, so you may want a quick primer first with the short YouTube clip below, What the #$%@ is UX Design. Finally, a book often recommended is Don’t Make Me Think: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability. The title sums up the goal of good UX design or a summer weekend… Don’t Make Me Think!
