(Work)Joyce spotted safe in…

June 17, 2014

Work Joyce in BrazilPhew… (Work)Joyce really gets around, but I didn’t know she got so fired up about fútbol. I hope she stayed to see the US defeat Ghana 2-1 yesterday in a match that was completely dominated by the team on the losing end. In related World Cup time and attendance news, some employees in China are buying “official” sick notes so they can tune in.

You know, I kid (Work)Joyce, who is a lovely woman, a fantastic manager, and just an all around great human, but I got a little worried after my post last week, when she wrote that her husband was insisting I be fired. Then yesterday, I received this ominous email from her…

I decided not to attend the conference in NYC next week, as I need the time to get some things done before I am on vacation…

Uhhh… hey, I was kidding! After all, she’s all that stuff I just wrote, plus she’s working hard at our last two KronosLIVE sessions today in Anaheim, and Thursday in San Ramon. You can also see her live in Vegas at our really big shew in November. By the way, you can still save $300 on KronosWorks if you register by July 18th! I’ll be there, too… I think.

Until then, here’s Tom McCormick, Regional Sales & Channels Manager for ASEAN at Kronos, discussing the productivity impact of the World Cup on CNBC.
