Ravens under a cloud “in the bleak December”

December 23, 2013

Ravens-PatsYesterday afternoon after a decent workout, I received a Facebook message from a co-worker (and Baltimore Ravens season ticket holder) on my new LG G2 phone. Oh, wait. Through the magic of screenshots, Gimp, and my evil, here it is, right here… Yeah, the Ravens fans and writers took on the personality of their team yesterday… Brash and loud. Well, for pre-game, anyway. Once the game actually started, things got quiet. Real quiet. On the field, in the stands, and online. It was as if their brashness was… nevermore.

New England Patriots v Houston TexansAnyway, once the bird was in hand, which was with 4:51 left in the first quarter, I played around with my phone after reading about a new software maintenance release. I summoned it from the cloud with one click. It was that easy. For our Workforce Central cloud customers, getting their software update for the JRE 1.7 issue will be almost as easy. What? You haven’t heard about the JRE 1.7 thing? Well, if you’re on Workforce Central 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 or 7, and are using the Java Runtime Environment version 1.7, you should be scrambling like Joe Flacco to get a service pack or patch installed… Unless you’re in our cloud where our teams are busy installing the fixes for you…

And like Mr. Brady, you won’t have to be scared at all.
