Top 10 Sessions at KronosWorks 2013!

November 5, 2013

Top10A week from now, about 2,000 of us will be in the hot workforce management throes of another KronosWorks. In fact, one week from tonight is the New York Street Party and Dinner at Universal Studios®, but alas, the Red Sox have already won the World Series this year, so reliving the party from KronosWorks 2004 would just be piling on. Anyway, as you know from yesterday’s installment, there’s a cool mobile app for the conference this year. You can use it as a KronosWorks social media app, session picker, and activity planner. That’s how I’d do it, but if you’re like “Analog Girl,” (Play)Joyce, and just like the feel of a paper conference agenda, you can go old school and just star these top 10 sessions from yours truly:

  1. Monday, 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The Workforce Central Cloud Tour
  2. Monday, 2:15 p.m. – 3:55 p.m. Roundtable: Best Practices for Workforce Management in Retail (At the same time, there are also best practices roundtables for Healthcare and Manufacturing)
  3. Monday 4:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. You’re on Social Media — Now What? – Gatlin Ballroom, Expo Theater
  4. Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. The Future of Workforce Management in the Cloud
  5. Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Migrating Our Workforce Central Deployment from In House to the Kronos Cloud. By The High Companies
  6. Tuesday, 1:45 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Seven Options to Drive an Optimized Kronos Solution
  7. Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. Increasing User Adoption to Maximize ROI
  8. Wednesday, 8:45 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Add, Upgrade, or See What’s New in Workforce HR/Workforce Payroll
  9. Wednesday, 9:45 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Top Resources Available on the Customer Portal
  10. Wednesday, 10:45 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Working Smarter Upgrading the Workforce Central Suite: What IT Needs to Know

These are just the sessions I’d pick. You should check out the full agenda for sessions and educational workshops you’re really interested in. It was tough picking just 10, and your interests are likely different than mine. For example, I’m pretty savvy on the social media stuff, but if Analog Girl were attending, I’d recommend HR & Social Media – Questions You Want Answered. By SHRM just so she’d stop asking me to explain Twitter…
